The BlackBerry is actually a wireless handheld device manufactured by the Canadian research company Research in Motion. This device supports push email, mobile telephone, internet faxing, and web browsing. Though the original device had a monochrome display, the current models have colour displays.
The BlackBerry mostly requires access to mobile wireless networks to send and receive email, for which it initially became very popular. These devices are amongst the most sophisticated handheld devices available today in the markets.
